My wife and I came from Germany for a round trip through Sri Lanka. Within this round trip we were the first guests at Flameback Eco Lodge. And we had a really wonderful stay there! The staff is very friendly, all meals were excellent, all facilities were luxury. Everything is designed in an environmental sound stile. It is lovely to wake up in the morning and to see the rising sun. We enjoyed a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Recreating is easy in Flameback Eco Lodge!

We visited this hotel as the last stop on our two week holiday in Sri Lanka. Fell in love with the amazing tranquil location and the Eco friendly concept. The lodges are beautifully done in line with nature but so luxurious and comfortable. The hotel is quite new but the staff was so experienced and very attentive. The food was delicious and and very fresh.. We were there for only two nights but will definitely visit again for a long period as this was the highlight of our trip.

We stayed at Flameback Eco Lodge during our visit to Yala and it was a wonderful two days of luxury and relaxation. Our room was unique with a beautiful interior and had an amazing view of the lake. What was great was to wake up at dawn and see the many varieties of birds in the garden.

The staff was friendly and very helpful and some of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka , we had at Flameback. The Sri Lankan rice & curry and the Cream buns with ice cream and chocolate toppings are a must try if you stay here. If you are in to nature and looking for a quite and peaceful vacation this would be the place for you.
